Farm Animal Headband

Make your very own headband while practicing your speech! Say the word on the headband 

3 times and then color that picture!  When you are finished with your practice, cut out the headband and the bottom strip.  Measure your head to make sure it fits properly.  Tape, staple or glue the pieces together. You are now ready to show off your hard work!  

Do not need to practice speech?  Use the pictures to learn new vocabulary words!

What better way to practice receptive language skills, following directions, and problem solving skills than to make a scavenger hunt!  It sounds complicated but it doesn’t have to be. Type the clues from the link below and print each clue on a separate piece of paper or write the clues on an index card!  It only takes a minute to set up for the scavenger hunt. The farmer has lost his favorite horse, Barnun!  Can you find him?

Have fun learning "FARM" vocabulary!  

Don't be afraid to change it up a bit!  Instead of using just the "label" try using describing words to locate the picture!  Play an "I Spy" game using the clues in the link below or make up your own!  For example, "I spy"....the one the farmer drives; the one that is red and grows on trees; the one that gives us milk; the structure that houses the hay, the one you can dig with, etc.  

So many options!!

This activity focuses on the speech sounds of P, B, T, D, K, G at the beginning, in the middle and at the end of a word.  Practice saying each "egg" before feeding it to Mr. Dinosaur!
